Clean and tidy room. Bed was very comfortable, friendly staff. Didn’t have dinner here but breakfast was decent with a wide selection to choose from included in our stay. Good value and location outside of the city centre. The car park is fairly small. Would stay again if in the area.
Had a very short stay here, and was absolutely brilliant! Highlight of the stay was the excellent service, especially in the bar area. Ruby (i think that was her name) was so lovely and chatty! Will definitely be coming here again.
Work Christmas lunch: slow service, with staff checking dietary requirements about 40 minutes after service should have started. The main course was great, the dessert looked as if had been sat somewhere for hours and one comment about the starter was "Has that lettuce leaf seen a priest yet? It looks at death's door".
Staff is really nice ... Although reception could may b explain where the lifts for the bedrooms are ...as they're not very clearly signposted (we only noticed the sign on our last day!) It would save them the hassle of catching you in the first lift, which is the one to conferences and get quite annoyed with you for getting in the wrong lift!!! Apart from that it is an exceptional place. The choice of various breakfasts is incredible. The bedrooms are super comfy, clean, and quiet. The rest of the staff throughout the hotel were amazing and so helpful. (Always with a smile!) We assumed the girl on reception when we first arrived was having a bad day as everyone else was great!
