We stayed in the hotel for a couple of days. I really liked the hotel and the view from our room. But I need to be honest that on pictures looks much better. The lobby is fantastic, like typical Hyatt hotel, but the corridors smell old. There is the same smell in the room also. Huge room, amazing view, (nothing in the refrigerator), bathroom was pretty big and clean. I also like the breakfast. The spa is nothing special. For that number of rooms I can tell that is very small.
Nice Hotel, but the rooms could have been a bit more warm. You need to change the hairdryer in the room, but appreciated the big TV and large offer of teas bags. Had a work conference and enjoyed the dinner party. Food was OK, large conference rooms and very nice staff.
High end hotel in the centre of Birmingham. 10 min walk from Birmingham New Street Station. Stayed for 4 nights and all the staff were consistently friendly & professional. Rooms cleaned on a daily basis with towels & bottles of water replaced. Buffet breakfast was nicely cooked & presented. Room rate was competitively priced. Would definitely stay here again.
My stay at the Hyatt hotel in Birmingham was overall enjoyable, with good service and quality facilities. However, I am disappointed to have to give a low rating due to an incident. Unaware of the vaping prohibition in my room, I was hit with a €400 fine after an alert was triggered at the front desk. I expected a warning rather than an immediate penalty, especially as a frequent guest of the Hyatt chain worldwide. This experience left a bad impression, and I do not plan to stay at this hotel on my future trips to Birmingham.
Stayed here for a business event in the ICC. Location was perfect. Staff were really helpful. Check in and out was fast and efficient. The lobby area is very pretty. Room was spacious and clean. The beds were very comfy and slept well, not hearing any noise from other rooms or guests. I had breakfast here. It was nice and a great selection of cooked and continental options.
