Quick overnight stay. Friendly staff. Great location right new New Street station, ten minutes walk away. The room was comfortable with the city centre views. Extra milk was given when requested. The breakfast selection had plenty of options. Great lobby area while waiting.
I arrived from London with my fiancé with nowhere else to go as my other hotel was cancelled, it was the early hours of the morning & I am so grateful for the hotel being so accommodating. The rooms are beautiful & big - we had a king size room and the bed was huge. Extremely clean and very very comfortable Breakfast was great, we really enjoyed it. Everything was amazing. I want to also give a special shout-out to Yolanda for being so accomodating. She was so friendly & really made me feel at ease. I have honestly never experienced such good customer service and I will definitely be back & will recommend to friends and family. Thank you once again & please pass my huge thanks on to Yolanda! She Is an asset to the hotel.
Stayed for one night last Friday. Walked in and thought how nice the reception and bar area were. Then we got to our upgraded club lounge room, and what a disappointment it was. Room was very tired and dated and in desperate need of an update, a/c heater system too loud too leave on if you planned on sleeping, but the main issue was the bathroom. No heat source what so ever. No radiator, heated towel rail or underfloor heating. We showered when we got there Friday and again on Saturday but as there’s no radiator the towels were still damp, and it was cold in there, in the one room where you want warmth! This is basic stuff! When we got home I tried to complain/comment through the hotels website feedback section but even that didn’t work, saying ‘it didn’t recognise our stay’! Only good thing is the 12pm checkout, which is ironic, as the room is that poor it doesn’t encourage you to stay that long. The staff on reception ought to wear stripy jumpers and balaclava’s to charge £214 for the room we had for one night! Shocking!
Really well situated and good standard of breakfasts. However the rooms look tired and the wait for the one working lift is unacceptable. The lifts have been like this for over 2 years with one out of order and they still have not sorted it.
Came here during Christmas holidays and what else can i say, exceptional service from the reception staff, restaurant and the house keeping staff all are very friendly and helpful esp Ms Jess from the restaurant team. Always there to help and super accommodating to us and the kids. Their breakfast spread is soooo good, too many varieties to choose. Our 5 nights stay was great. Thank you again. Will definitely come again in the future. Lx
